I were thinking about this artwork when read the morning new of 2000 corpses pulled into Miyagi coast. I cut the coastal road map of the most hard-hit provinces, stretching from Ibaraki (right) and Miyagi (left, wave form). Road map is based on the curved shape of the waves. The cranes are flying up as the reincarnation of the death’s souls whom are wandering the coast line.
The Japanese believe there has another parallel world exits along the one we are living. I want to lay a belief that these people are transforming into another purier world. And the depature of the death will be the strenght of the living ones.

Tôi nghĩ về tác phẩm này khi một buổi sáng đọc thấy tin 2000 xác người tấp vào ven biển Miyagi. tôi cắt trên bản đồ đường ven biển của mấy tỉnh bị thiệt hại nặng nhất, kéo dài từ Ibaraki (bên phải) đến Miyagi (bên trái, hình ngọn sóng). Đường bản đồ như hình lượn cong của những cơn sóng. Những cánh hạc dù bẹp dí mà vẫn đang bay lên, như sự hóa thân của những linh hồn từ những xác người vất vương ven biển.
Người Nhật vốn tin vào một thế giới khác song song thế giới đang hiện hữu. Tôi muốn tin một niềm tin rằng, họ đang hóa kiếp sang một thế giới khác trong lành hơn. Và, sự ra đi của những con người kia hóa thành sức mạnh tiếp nối cho những người ở lại.
